La carovana della violenza

Director Nicky Ranieri (an alias for Magdalena Lynn) probably doesn't care much for the subgenres in which she shoots her porn movies, but fact of the matter is that, after Cacciatori di Taglie this is her second spaghetti western. Be that as it may, what we have here is a very unimaginitive porn flick. Things start out well enough with Laura Angel in a spicy stagecoach scene, but soon I found out that La carovana della violenza has little more to offer than the exact buildup to any following sex scene; a pistolero (of sorts) holds a woman at gunpoint, after which she is forced to perform some fellatio and allow access to her other two holes as well. I wouldn't call them rape scenes, but they're not volantary either. As if things aren't bad enough already, some of the women get robbed in the process.

Anyway, the viewer gets to see sex in stagecoaches, some nookie outdoors and naturally some old rolling in the haystack. I've seen porn movies far more erotic than this one. The cinematography and the editing are done in uninspired fashion, while the music is of the boring Richard Claydermann type. This might fit in a restaurant, but here it simply doesn't work. However, the sex scenes manage to do the trick well enough as the ladies in it tend to look pretty good.

La carovana della violenza is a cheap film. The costumes look ridiculous and there are no sets, neither are there any indoor scenes. It was probably shot somewhere in rural Italy. As far as the western aspects of the film are concerned, I can inform you that there is no gunplay whatsoever. Sure there are money shots in various pretty faces, but I'd say these don't qualify as such. There is not much to say about the plot. The little dialogue it has, a line or six, I couldn't understand. However, I have the feeling I didn't miss out on much.

If you feel like watching a pornographic spaghetti western, I advise you to watch Palle in canna! instead, as it has far more to offer in all departments.
